Tacos with a twist.

I hopped onto Pinterest last week and read a taco recipe that I think is going to be a game changer. Ready for it?

Baked tacos.

Duh! Why had I never thought about that before. You still brown the ground meat in a pan (I used lean turkey); BUT, you put the tacos in the oven for a few minutes after you stuff them with whatever you choose! That way everything blends together more organically.

Makes sense, right?

I used what I had in my kitchen for taco fillings: a winning trifecta of lettuce, cheese, and onion. And I made my own crispy taco shells (it was later than usual, so I wasn't ambitious enough to make tortillas from scratch).
